Job Description
As the Assistant Manager, you'll have a lot of face time with guests and employees. You'll act as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction by properly training employees and adhering to company policies. You'll oversee service, take the lead resolving issues, and cover when the Manager is off duty or working on other projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing business segments of restaurant operations - including staffing and service
- Assist in optimizing profit and controlling costs with the use of P&L statements
- Train new employees and supervise current employees to consistently provide exemplary service and achieve operational excellence
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff alike by adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Schedule maintenance as needed
- Report to all meetings

While traveling to St. Louis in 2001, Bourke Harvey noticed a huge crowd of people waiting in line at what he thought was an ice cream shop. He had to stop and see what the big attraction was all about. He had never even heard of frozen custard, but when he first tasted it, he immediately knew that he had just experienced one of "the finer things in life". So fine, in fact, he knew that he had to share his experience.
Bourke attended the Ross Frozen Custard School in Michigan and came back determined to bring the best frozen custard to his hometown of Fort Worth, TX. After working diligently with food scientists and custard confectioners, he developed his own unique frozen custard that rivals any brand he had ever tasted.The result was a delightfully rich and flavorful frozen custard formula which includes a proprietary blend of Indonesian Vanilla Flavoring as well as two subtle “mystery ingredients”. The end result is a frozen treat like nothing you have ever experienced.
Through the years, he and General Manager Brad Gardner have added new items to the menu including Nathan’s Hot Dogs and Hand-Crafted Popsicles.
Curly's Frozen Custard has recently partnered with three Fort Worth companies to create delicious products that can only be found at Curly's.
