Job Description

Strong kitchen experience required. As the Assistant Manager/ Pit Master, you'll have a lot of face time with guests and employees. You'll act as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction by properly training employees and adhering to company policies. You'll oversee service, take the lead resolving issues, and cover when the General Manager is off duty or working on other projects.

As an Assistant Mgr, you will also become a Pit Master. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and give direction as needed. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.

Responsibilities

• •. You will master the smoking of meats, cutting meats with great presentation and overall kitchen knowledge.
• Assist in managing business segments of restaurant operations - including staffing, ordering and service
• Assist in optimizing profit and controlling costs
• Train new employees and supervise current employees to consistently provide exemplary service and achieve operational excellence
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff alike by adhering to safety and sanitation standards
