We are a growing, neighborhood business in need of an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager.

This full-time position reports to the Senior Manager of the restaurant to support daily FOH efforts. A successful candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. A manager with a total focus on customer service as well as employee support and development.

An Assistant Manager will assist with opening and closing duties, support staff during service, ensure that everything runs smoothly, and customers are satisfied.

Our Assistant manager will assist with multiple efforts to help manage daily operations and administration of the business such as recruitment and staff training, scheduling, ordering, shift meetings, oversight of side work, manage vendors/deliveries, etc.

This is an ideal position for anyone with a hospitality background and desire to expand their knowledge of the true nuts and bolts of the restaurant business. We value genuine hospitality and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment
• Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery
• Cut, bone, or grind pieces of meat
• Weigh, wrap, label and store cuts of meat
• Know and comply with proper storage standards
• Participate in product rotation, inventory, waste management and ordering of product
• Clean equipment and work areas according to sanitation standards.
