Job Description
As the baker, you will be responsible for preparing baked goods of different varieties. Please see website for menu.
This position will require the ability to decorate cakes, cupcakes, and pair desserts for weddings. We average 20-30 weddings per weekend. We do not hire individuals without decorating experience.
You'll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining baking equipment and following all safety and sanitation protocols.
Delivering cakes to various wedding venues around DFW is required.
Will need a clean driving record. Drivers license required.
Flexible scheduling available but must be willing to work weekends.
Most work hours fall between 10am and 6pm. However early morning and night time is available.
Responsibilities
- Measure, weigh, and prep recipe ingredients
- Prep multiple recipes
- Decorate, glaze, apply icing, and prep toppings
- Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools
- Operate large and heavy equipment such as mixers and ovens.
- Order and receive supplies and materials from Ben E Keith and local grocers.
- must know how to decorate cakes
- must be able to successfully deliver orders to local wedding venues.
- must be efficient and organized.
