Job Description
As the bartenders’ extra set of hands, your job as bar-back is to support anything and everything behind the bar. You’ll be responsible for maintaining stock, assisting during service and providing go-to support for all your bartenders' needs. There's potential opportunity for growth as many bartenders start as bar-backs.

Kava bars differ from the traditional american bar. The kava community is a very friendly, family oriented group. Everyone greets you when you come in the door, and everyone is very approachable. We like to do it different here at Nakava, we normally drink our shells together in a "bula" where we will raise our shells and shout bula which is a Fijian word for "To long life and good health". It is traditionally done with a shell of kava, but we do the same for kratom. Nakava was the first kava bar in the continental United States. We have been in business in Boca Raton for the last 14 years and counting. We are off 20th street in Boca Raton, just a few minutes drive from the FAU campus. The best way to reach our bar is to take the Glades exit off I-95 in Boca Raton and go east until you hit NW 2nd, then make a left, then when you hit 20th street, make a right, and we will be on your right hand side near Muchiez and The Hookup. We are open til 2 AM every night of the week so we are the perfect late night hang out. Come by and bring a few friends next time you're down in Boca Raton.
