As the barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail and working quickly & accurately will help ensure your success. You'll also be responsible for keeping your station and the larger establishment clean and stocked. Coral Gables' first coffee house, Café Demetrio, offers the coffee lover a pinnacle of class, taste, and returns to the original concept of the coffee house that once flourished in 18th Century European cafes: a meeting spot where poets, intellectuals, artists, and working citizens could spend an afternoon pondering the great questions of mankind. The owners, Demetrio and Vilma Pina, a husband and wife team, built the cafe on the original 1920's premises of Coral Gables' first newspaper. Patrons are invited to linger for a while in the patio to enjoy the South Florida weather, play a game of chess, or just sit and enjoy a quiet moment over a steaming capuccino.
