Job Description
As the barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail and working quickly & accurately will help ensure your success. You'll also be responsible for keeping your station and the larger establishment clean and stocked. Being a barista offers you a community of passionate coffee lovers and frequent opportunities for continued learning.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers
- Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages
- Share knowledge and suggest menu items to customers
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment
- Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Receive and process payments
- Prepare foods such as muffins, pastries, bagels, etc.

Andrew Sabola, a Gemini, ran off to Italy to learn how to make gelato the old school way with his best friend (also a Gemini). In Bologna, they studied alongside the world's best gelato makers. While traveling around Italy they learned that the best way to consume gelato was to wash it down with a negroni on the rocks or an amaro straight up.
Andrew returned from Italy, signed a lease, began construction and Gelateria Gemelli was born.
