About the Position

We are about to begin a partnership with the Austin Convention Center. We expect it to be a very fast paced, high volume environment that necessitates cooperative teamwork, time management, and strong multi-tasking skills in order to run smoothly. We are looking for thoughtful, attentive, and reliable go-getters capable of paying attention to the details while keeping their eye on the big picture.

Our brick and mortar coffee shop + pastry kitchen, located across from the University of Texas in West Campus, serves as the Lucky Lab homebase.

Depending upon shift, daily duties may consist of opening the location each morning and preparing for service, manning the register (taking customers’ orders, making suggestions, demonstrating deep knowledge of the menu and company, completing transactions, etc.), preparing handcrafted drinks according to Lucky Lab recipes and standards, maintaining a clean, organized, and visually-appealing bar, stocking and restocking bar, merch, and food items throughout the day, cleaning and dishwashing.

At least one year of previous barista experience is required. We are looking for candidates that are available for 8-10 hour shift blocks and are able to commit to at least 25 hours each week (part time) or 40 hours each week (full time) .
