Job Description
CLINK Wine Bar + Bites is looking for bartenders to work hand and hand with the owner, servers, other bartenders and kitchen staff to serve customers. The successful candidate will have a passion for wine, create fantastic customer experiences, teach customers and staff about wine in an unpretentious way, and be a team player with the ability to jump in wherever needed.
Our bartender will craft memorable wine and food experiences that connect our guests to the land. Our bartender will share their passion for wine, their discoveries and their knowledge via stories that add depth to the customers wine experience. Our bartender will be able to distill down their knowledge into appropriate “sound bites” based on the customers knowledge and interest that keep customers interested and coming back for more.
$250 bonus once 90 days on the job is completed
Responsibilities
- Learns all menus, including all ingredients and techniques and can describe accurately to customers
- Maintains complete familiarity with the wine lists
- Assists in bar set up before opening and cleaning upon closing
- Serves wine and food to customers
- Communicates wine information, descriptions and grape information to customers in an unpretentious way
- Works cohesively with the other wine and kitchen team members before, during and after shift
- Upholds CLINK Wine BAR + Bites alcohol and food safety standards while serving wine and food to customers
- Stores and maintains bottles, glassware, and service pieces
- Presents and participates during wine courses for staff and customers as requested by owner
