Job Description
You are the person that guides the bar guests through our food and beverage program. You are responsible for crafting and serving the desired beverage with the highest standards while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation, with the intent of exceeding guest expectations.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
-You are required to execute your responsibilities with a sense of urgency, efficiency and professionalism at all times. These expectations include, but are not limited to the following:
Providing exceptional customer service ensuring a positive experience to each and every guest
Greeting guests in a timely, polite and welcoming manner
o We will not tolerate- keeping your head down, not making eye contact with guests, socializing with co-workers instead of acknowledging guests, addressing guests in an abrasive/rude way, or turning your back to the guests.
Demonstrate a complete and comprehensive understanding of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic products created by and carried at Collision Bend at all times.
o We will not tolerate the inability to provide guests with accurate and enticing information/explanations of any of the products within our beverage program.
Demonstrate a complete and comprehensive understanding of Collision Bend’s food program
o You are required to accurately describe taste, texture, flavor, preparation, and presentation to all guests.
o You are required to exhibit an in-depth knowledge of which dishes are appropriate for guests that have allergy and dietary restrictions. You must be able to answer their questions and provide suggestions with confidence.
o Awareness of menu changes/additions/promotions
Demonstrate complete knowledge of Aloha POS
VIP acknowledgement and procedures
Cash settlement and safety procedures
o Efficient and accurate cash handling
o Documentation of any shortage/overage
Demonstrate ability to consistently execute bar opening and closing procedures
o Must abide by checklists and execute proper stocking and rotating procedures(FIFO)
Exhibit understanding of the philosophy/ideology behind Collision Bend
o Collision Bend’s philosophy and standards for both the menu and level of Customer Service and Hospitality we strive to provide
o Luke Purcell’s history and passion for making outstanding beer
o History of Collision Bend’s location and any other pertinent information relative to creating the best guest experience possible
Abiding by Collision Bend Brewery’s uniform standards
o You are required to maintain a clean and neat appearance
Respect coworkers and management at all times
Awareness that our restaurant functions as a whole and all duties are executed as a team
Demonstrate ability to recognize when co-workers need assistance and provide that assistance without management direction in the most efficient, expedited manner
Required to take initiative and assist in tasks outside of your primary job description and any tasks that are deemed necessary by management
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant needs.
- Help plan and serve bar menu.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory.
- ID customers to confirm legal drinking age.
- Comply with food and beverage regulations.
