About this location
About QI Austin: Modern Asian Kitchen
Heathy diet can be achieved through combining western and traditional Chinese cuisine by using local organic farming. The concept was derived from Chef Ling’s upbringing in China as well as her extensive international travels and cooking experiences.
Chef Ling came from Fuzhou City, the southeast of China. Influenced by her grandmother and her home cooking culture, she developed a consuming passion for the art of Chinese cuisine. After becoming a mother, she has gradually focused on healthier cooking and the nutrition of foods. She is very passionate about traditional Chinese culture, especially Chinese opera. She has been promoting the combination of the Oriental and Occidental cuisine, in order to join the culinary art and healthy living together. The complete concept of the restaurant comes from the inspiration that Chef Ling received in Beijing.
