Job Description

This position is responsible for cutting and packing retail steaks, cutting and marinating jerky, trimming briskets for pastrami and smoking, along with working with butcher lead on breaking down whole carcass and quartered animals. During hunting season overtime is available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized workstation
• Cut and package retail steaks
• Maintain inventory of jerky, smoked briskets and other retail items
• Keep weekly inventory of meats used for retail products
• Display and rotate meats ensuring all products for sale are wholesome
• Cut meats to customers specifications
• Clean equipment and work areas at the end of shift
