Job Description
This team member will be responsible for decorating on a wide variety of techniques and skills. Your skill in design and decorating should be matched by your creativity to innovate and create new product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain quality of all products and presentation.
- Consult with customers to discuss detailed cake designs and decorating ideas for speciality cakes, cookies, cupcakes and other pastries.
- Design and decorate regular baked items according to Gigi's Cupcakes standards.
- Clean and sanitize all work areas as well as baking and decorating equipment.
- Take inventory of decorating suppliers and communicate as new stock is required.

Meet Gigi Butler
Gigi was born in Oklahoma and raised in California. A born entrepreneur, she started a cleaning company when she was just 15, but her real dream was being a singer/songwriter. In 1994, she sold her cleaning business, and with all her bills paid and $500 cash in hand, moved to Nashville to follow that dream. As it turns out, her real dream was making cupcakes. After a life-changing phone call from Gigi’s brother Steve, Gigi’s Cupcakes was born in Nashville in 2008. We’ve been swirling some fun ever since!

Gigi’s has been swirling cupcakes for more than 12 years, growing from the first location in Nashville to more than 50 locations in 21 states. While cupcakes are at the heart of our kitchens, we’re big fans of other sweet treats, too: cookies, brownies and macarons bring a little variety to the party. Each Gigi’s is locally owned and operated, bringing their local community into each bakery. A freshly baked app makes online ordering easy online ordering for take-out and delivery, with rewards for loyal fans.
