Job Description
Your job as cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from taking orders and processing payments, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and answering the phone. The most important aspect of your work as Cashier is to provide accurate and friendly service to ensure guests will return.

Yes! Since 1967, Capt. Benny has been docking his oyster boats in Houston and Austin neighborhoods. Those humble boats are a promise of fresh seafood made to order. From our earliest days, we have been known for serving the freshest oysters, shrimp and catfish available anywhere. Since then our menu has expanded to include mouth-watering seafood platters for every taste – and Cajun favorites to rival anything from New Orleans.
We now have 7 locations in the great state of Texas, but our family owned and operated restaurants all remain true to our roots. We follow time-honored family recipes and use only the freshest ingredients. That is why generations of customers have always “felt at home” at The Boat. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
