Job Description

The Flying Fish restaurant is fun, busy, and a great place to work and we’re looking to hire a great Cashier at the Houston location. We need an experienced Cashier who is honest, super friendly, has great customer service and understands how to work in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• General Responsibilities
• • Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting
• • Maintaining proper dining experience and fulfilling customer needs
• • Issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change
• • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Job Qualifications
• • Excellent oral communication skills required
• • Excellent listening skills required
• • Positive interpersonal skills required
• • Must be fluent in English
• • Adhere to grooming and appearance and uniform standards
• • Standing and walking for up to 12 hours
• • Lifting, carrying and/or moving up to 30 lbs. on occasion
• • Bending, stooping and reaching frequently
• • Smiling is part of our uniform
• • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• • Must have a valid Food Handlers’ Certificate
