Job Description
Your job as cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from taking orders and processing payments, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and answering the phone. The most important aspect of your work as Cashier is to provide accurate and friendly service to ensure guests will return.

Stepping into our Western Springs ice cream store brings a little nostalgia and a lot of happiness. We offer colorful balloons for our younger guests, while we welcome everyone to relax with a friendly game of chess, checkers or any one of many other board games while enjoying your favorite ice cream treat. Oberweis ice cream has earned the right to be called super premium. That's more than just a fancy way of saying super tasty, it's ice cream that meets the finest standards. First, it's made with 50% overrun, which means our ice cream is only one part air to every two parts of cream. We also use 18% butterfat and the absolute finest ingredients, more than any other ice cream in the freezer aisle. It's rich, creamy and made in small batches using cream from Oberweis milk.
We still bake our famous waffle cones every day, make our signature whipped cream from scratch and serve our divine super premium ice cream in traditional fountain glassware.
