Job Description
Your job as cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from taking orders and processing payments, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and answering the phone. The most important aspect of your work as Cashier is to provide accurate and friendly service to ensure guests will return.

Picnic serves delectable, fresh, lighter fare – sandwiches, salads, soups and fresh, house-made baked goods and bread – that's as locally sourced as possible and available to go or to be enjoyed here in our relaxed, airy and very casual space.
We also provide volume orders of our celebrated box lunches to companies and other organizations in the Texas Medical Center, downtown, the Galleria area with free delivery for orders of 20 or more box lunches. Each box lunch contains a delicious sandwich, a fresh fruit cup, potato chips, a large house-made cookie, a pickle spear, a silverware pack with a napkin and a handi-wipe hand cleaner.
Everything served at Picnic — from the wide variety of breads and other delicious baked goods to the soups and salads — is made fresh in-house seven days a week.
