Job Description
As the chef, you’ll take complete responsibility for every plate that gets served and the overall direction of the menu. You’ll be expected to innovate and iterate on the menu to provide creative, quality food while meeting profit goals. You will be responsible for hiring and supervising the kitchen staff and coaching employees on consistency, technique and skills.

Welcome to the newest neighborhood hangout in Ahwatukee! Mixed in with LivGenerations Ahwatukee senior living retirement community and snuggled against our multi-family community Liv Ahwatukee, is TUK (Tuk Urban Kafe), an eclectic bistro opened 7 days a week!
TUK’s design has an urban industrial blend with large glass garage doors that open to allow a blending of indoor and outdoor dining. TUK can be accessed from its doors in the front of the main building. Inside and out you can enjoy a sporting event on our TV’s or play corn hole or ping pong on our outside tables. While enjoying food and drinks you can hang out in our second floor balcony enjoying our free Wi-Fi while surfing the web, studying or finishing up some work.
Our menu concept offers “small bites”, flatbreads, tacos, all in one bowls available in different sizes and daily specials. Our plates are great for sharing, eating alone, afternoon snacking or for the smaller appetite person. Mix and match multiple items creating your own smorgasbord for you or everyone to enjoy. One of our most popular selection is our 100% angus beef ½ pound burgers cooked the way you like them on a grilled roll starting at $6.95. Each month we feature two specialty burgers designed to tempt your taste buds!
