Job Description

The bar staff members are responsible for providing the highest level of customer service for the patrons of the Long Center. Bar staff members are also responsible for providing courteous, efficient and responsible beverage and food service. A great attitude, accuracy and attention to detail are necessary skills.

Responsibilities

• • Greet guests as they approach your station with a smile.
• • Responsible for providing food and beverage concessions in a friendly and accurate manner.
• • Basic knowledge of types of beer, wine and liquor.
• • Functional knowledge of mixed beverages that will allow for accurate preparation of beverages.
• • Adhere to all state and local liquor laws.
• • Operate our POS system and provide accurate financial transactions with patrons.
• • Will be solely responsible for money assigned to you.
• • Must be able to handle high-volume bar service for extended periods.
• • Use excellent customer service skills and positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, & employees.
• • Complete all assigned tasks within the guidelines & deadlines set by concessions management.
• • Effectively and calmly interact with angry or emotional guests and employees.
• • Follow all operating policies and procedures at all times.
• • Adhere to all company policies of performance and attendance to maintain employment.
• • Maintain company confidentiality
• • All employees will be required to work event/catering shifts that may or may not be the same job they are originally hired for
• • Other duties as assigned.
• • MUST be TIPS certified within sixty days from hire date
