Job Description
As a cook, you'll set up your station and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and take direction from the Chef or Sous Chef and also explore your creativity where appropriate. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.

About Bear's Food Shack
We built Bear's with our own sweat and love, from the floor to the rafters, and our dining room has stories to tell. Our colorful tables are crafted from the bow of an old Tahitian fishing boat. The virgin teak wood was painted with the ancestral colors of the village, and the money went back to the village to buy new fishing boats. Hanging in the dining room are several antique hand blown glass fishing bouys collected from around the world.
The Polynesian Princess hanging in the corner started her 'career' on a boat in Fiji. Then she did a stint hanging in the bar on ‘Two and a Half Men’ and was given to Bear by Charlie Sheen. For real.
Look up...In the rafters, a surf board from Hawaii
(with its own stories to tell).
The paddle? The best for last. This paddle served as the 'rudder' for a vessel used by early Pacific Islanders navigating open- ocean voyages.
