Job Description

We're looking for a qualified food production lead to work with and oversee team members to batch, mix, process, package and ship small batch artisan made foods. Focus will be on safety and compliance standards, purchasing, production, product testing, inventory, and fulfillment. We are looking for individuals with a good work ethic and ability to work as a team. Hours of operation are 9am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Our production facility is located 1/2 block from Ft. McPherson MARTA station.

COMPENSATION: $15.00-$18.00hr based on experience with incremental increases and performance bonuses

HOURS: full-time Monday -Friday 9am-5pm

Duties include:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Operate kitchen equipment to produce finished product that meets specification and complies with Food safety guidelines, quality requirements, and cost control guidelines.

Set up raw materials for prepping batches.

Insures batches are made to specification of recipes.

Perform prepping, mixing of product, making adjustments to meet specifications, changeovers, and startup and shutdown of kitchen equipment.

Performs routine and random inspections on all applicable processing equipment, to insure proper sanitation.

Operate mixers, oven, kettles, and dishwasher as required.

Take product ph, perform sanitation, conduct calibration on equipment, and record temperatures on cooler. .

Performs routine and random inspections on all applicable processing equipment, to insure proper sanitation. Sanitizes in accordance to checklist and procedures.

Communicate between departments to insure that all issues are resolved promptly and appropriately.

Understand and comply with allergen program and HACCP requirements.

Insures that Company policies and procedures are followed in the department, including proper adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).

Hours subject to change. Overtime and weekends may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience in prepping with sanitation and clean-up a plus.

2. Must have transportation

3. Able to lift up to 50 pounds

4. Spanish Language a plus
