About Craft Pita
Craft Pita provides a True Mediterranean dining experience. We aim to bring the community together for a healthy and delicious meal inspired by traditions of the Mediterranean. It’s fine dining for fine people. We believe great tasting food starts at the source and carries through each conscious step, all the way to your plate.
Founder Rafael Nasr started Craft Pita because he believes in sharing culture through food. Rafael was born and raised in Houston as a first generation Lebanese American. His childhood summers were spent visiting his grandmother’s home and olive oil grove in the mountains of Lebanon. There he learned the key components of Mediterranean food: freshly pressed olive oil, fruits and veggies from the garden, freshly baked bread from the local baker, and humanely-raised meat.
Here’s how we bring the concept of fresh, locally sourced food to life:
We partner with local farmers, ranchers, and purveyors that share our values.
Our baked goods are sourced locally from bakers that we know and love.
All of our premium proteins have been responsibly raised with no hormones, no antibiotics, and no animal byproducts in their feed.
Our produce is grown locally by family farms and organizations that benefit the people in our community.
And finally, our finishing olive oil is imported from the region of our family olive orchards in Lebanon.
