Job Description
As a cook, you'll set up your station and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and take direction from the Chef or Sous Chef and also explore your creativity where appropriate. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.
Responsibilities
- Cook food in a variety of ways
- Prepare ingredients
- Possess a solid sense of timing
- Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Monitor stock and place orders for shortages

We are known for our good Southern Fried Chicken, fries, pickles, peppers and the bread that is under the bottom of the chicken soaking up all that FLAVOR! At Halls, we offer two different recipes our Classic and the new Home style.
The Classic is the original recipe and the Home style we marinate in our own blend of seasonings then fry it to perfection. Five different wing flavors or you can have your tenders sauced up anyway you like it. Also we serve some of the BEST deep fried Cheesecakes (you haven’t had anything like it) and homemade cakes. Let us fill your stomach anytime of the day under $5.
Some of our items include Livers, Gizzards, Chicken backs and more. In these last few years we have expanded our menu and have something for everybody. Our menu ranges from Fish, Shrimp, Links, Hot-wings, Tenders, Pork Chops, and a variety of sides. At Hall’s, we hand batter everything for that amazing taste that so many of our customers say reminds them of their grandma’s cookin’.
