Job Description
Pay based on experience $16-$22 hr.
Looking for an experienced Culinary professional, who can work with a team to produce high quality food quickly and consistently.
Skills needed include:
- Knowledge and practice of safe handling practices.
- Understanding of different food preparation methods.
- Knife skills
- The ability to read and follow, recipes and instructions given verbally.
- time management and Organization are a must have.
- The ability to work as a part of a team
- willingness to learn and practice systems specific to our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment
- maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Produce food according to specifications.
- communicate with teammates to ensure proper food delivery time and quality.
- Maintain food prep levels, as determined by the chef.
- Breakdown workstations clean correctly. And storing properly all the equipment and ingredients.
- Project a professional and positive attitude towards all other employees, customers and vendors.
- Maintain a teachable attitude, and willingness to be flexible in your work duties, as a smaller restaurant our employees will have cover other positions at times as needed.
