Job Description
As a cook, you'll set up your station and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and take direction from the Chef or Sous Chef and also explore your creativity where appropriate. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.

About Peggy's Country Cafe
Peggy and her family grew up in the Seagoville/Balch Springs area. While Peggy worked several jobs to support her 2 kids, Tammy and Manuel, she remained close to her entire family and the community. She dreamed of opening her own cafe and after many years of hard work and owning several successful businesses, she bought the Lone Oak Cafe on January 1, 2003. She wanted to bring good food and service back to where she grew up. With a lot of help from her family and friends, The Lone Dove Country Cafe was born. In 2007, Peggy changed the name to Peggy's Country Cafe. She continues to work hard at the cafe, concessions, catering and real estate, but she still makes time to be a part of her grandkids(Jessica, John, Little Manuel and Anthony) and her great grandkids(Karson & Rielyn) lives. Family means everything to Peggy and she hopes everyone will enjoy our food and hospitality and always remember that you'll have a place at our table in our hearts.
