The Vineyard at Florence is the ideal vineyard resort for enjoying fresh food, delicious wines, weekend escapes, events and weddings. With 20 guest rooms, two unique event spaces, a bar, restaurant, day spa, many guest activities and acres of beautiful vines, our focus is on the guest experience. As part of the kitchen brigade you will work in a team to create exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Primary Area of Responsibility

Assisting in the smooth running of the kitchen including stock, wastage control, hygiene practices and training within the kitchen.

Must haves:

Positive, guest and staff focused attitude.

Dynamic, energetic and fit.

Great communicator.

Experience as a cook in a café or event space.

Ability to work in all areas of the kitchen.

A love for fresh food and wine!

Nice to haves:

Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

3 Year Hospitality Management or equivalent culinary university degree.

Experience with a wood fired pizza oven.

A minimum of 1 year’s experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook.
