Job Description
At Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Garland, our ideal candidate will be cooperative and collaborative, energetic and upbeat, self-motivated and disciplined. He/she will be responsible for picking up and delivering finished dishes efficiently and accurately. This includes checking that all outgoing food meets presentation standards, is cooked properly, and that plates are the correct temperature. He/she will liaise between BOH and FOH staff, will monitor ticket times and report delays where necessary, and will work as part of a tightly-knit team to guarantee guest satisfaction.

- Be timely and dependable.
- Absorb detailed information around a frequently-changing menu.
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
- Perform opening/closing tasks and sidework duties as a self-starter.
- Support BOH and FOH staff in their duties, especially in meeting guests’ needs in an efficient and appropriate manner.
- Assist in preserving a safe and secure work environment.
- Consistently meet all best practice standards set in employee handbook and during training.
