About this location
About Pie Snob - Arcadia
Welcome to Pie Snob!
History in the Baking!
My mother was always the pie maker in the family. At Thanksgiving she would make 6 or 7 pies to bring to dinner and they were always the highlight of the meal. She would always make a blackberry pie for me because she knew it was my favorite. Over time, I learned the art of making pies from her.
Fast forward several years...a friend encouraged me to try selling some pies to our friends at Christmas. So I sent out an email to some of my mommy friends and was delighted to get a handful of orders...Pie Snob was born!
After about a year of working out of my cramped home kitchen my husband renovated our garage into a commercial kitchen. This was where I worked for about the next 10 years. People would pick up their pies in my backyard! It was fun but we needed a store front and a larger kitchen.
Our first storefront was and still is at 3630 E Indian School Road. A few years after that we found another storefront and kitchen at 6522 N 16th St. And in 2021 we were delighted to open another location in charming downtown Chandler, 250 S. Arizona Ave.
It’s been a wild ride. Through it all we still make pies the way my mother taught me. Everything is hand made and from scratch. From crusts to the whipped cream and everything in between we make it all in house…. Because Life’s too short to eat bad pie!
