District Six (D6) is looking for you! One part sports bar with modern twists on the classics, one part arcade, D6 is Georgetown’s newest addition to our high energy Downtown Live Music and Entertainment District. Come join our team in this fast paced, exciting concept that is sure to kill.

The line cook will report to the Kitchen Manager and must be committed to producing consistent and high quality work. Kitchen experience is preferred but we are most interested in candidates who want to show up and give it 100% and learn and improve on a daily basis. We are offering competitive pay based on experience. Part time and Full time opportunities are available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepping recipes per the recipe and pars

Stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks

Plating prepared foods based on KM’s guidance

Working with expo to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Ability to complete all assigned tasks within the scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Ability to effectively cook and present all items on the menu in a timely manner
• Complete assigned prep list, efficiently run your station during the shift, and stock food as needed
• Exercising good safety, sanitation and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with all members of the BOH staff
