About Mico's Hot Chicken
MEET MICO!
Growing up, I was known for my love of spicy food. So, when I discovered Hot Chicken my mind was blown! Why haven’t I heard of this special combination of two of my favorites – fried chicken and spice that’ll make me sweat? I grabbed my husband and children and took a flight to Nashville to explore Hot Chicken from the source. That trip changed my life as it placed a desire in me to conjure up my own Hot Chicken spot. Thus, Mico’s Hot Chicken was born!
We served our first meal out of a food trailer in June 2019. The city of Houston responded really well to our food and very soon people were lining up to get their hands on our Hot Chicken. Our small white trailer became so popular, so quickly, that we signed a lease on a brick and mortar just six months after we first opened our window to the public. The rest is history.
