Job Description

*Must have experience

$14 - $16 per hour!

Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot or cold food products as well as

prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final

plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all

hot and cold menu items.

Responsibilities

•  Demonstrates and promotes the Resident Taqueria culture, always positvely representing the company
•  Embraces teamwork within the restaurant, creating a postive work enviroment
•  Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers,
• ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment
•  Assumes responsibility for quality of products served
•  Knows and complies with standard recipes, cooking methods, kitchen rules and polices and procedures
•  Sets up, stocks and maintains a sufficent level of product at station to ensure a smooth meal period
•  Maintains a clutter-free, clean and sanitized work enviroment at all times. This is including but not
• limited to tables, shelves, broilers, fryers, flat top range, hood vent and refrigeration equipment
•  Follows proper plate set up and all garnishes for all dishes
•  Handles, rotates and stores all products properly
•  Opens and closes the kitchen properly, according to the checklist for the kitchen
•  Attends all scheduled employee meetings, bringing ideas and suggestions to accentuate the culture of
• Resident Taqueria.
•  Perfoms all other duties or assignments that are requested by the Lead line cook, Manager or
• Chef/Owner.
