About this location
About Sip85
Sip85 was established by three high school friends that grew up in the East Lake corridor during the 80’s. East Lake was a small community where the only place to eat for years was Fairway Pizza at Sandy Point Road which is now home to Walgreens next to John Chestnut Park. Back in the 80’s the three friends frequently dined at Fairway and referred to it as their neighborhood restaurant.
The friends remained close through the years watching this community grow. As East Lake went through major growth, the community always lacked a restaurant with top quality food. For years they each spoke about the opportunity to provide a nice neighborhood establishment for residents to visit while enjoying a quality steak, pork chop or a fresh piece of fish. In 2014, all the ideas and talk went into action.
The three of them and an extended group of friends always called home “The 85.” Palm Harbor, Florida 346”85” was always at the forefront of the idea. In the end, the result is a small, friendly neighborhood restaurant offering top quality food and wine while always having “The 85” in mind.
