The Tipsy Crab Richmond – Lead Line Cook


We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Line Cook to join our team in our Richmond, VA location.


About the Role:


The Lead Line Cook/Supervisor is responsible for preparing food in accordance with the approved menu, current standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that quality food service is provided at all times, in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values.


Responsibilities

  • What You'll Need:
  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
  • Knowledge of high volume kitchen operations
  • Ability to inspect food spoilage and proper rotation
  • Prep work experience and expediting knowledge
  • Skills in use of all kitchen equipment
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and plate presentation
  • Ability to maintain the pace of a high volume kitchen
  • Proper sanitation knowledge
  • Positive Attitude and team player mentality
  • Attention to detail
  • Clean appearance
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and occasional holidays
  • High School Diploma
  • ServSafe Certified
  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  • Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
