The Assistant Restaurant Manager is someone who is passionate about food and customer service. They are a problem-solver with a strong work ethic and leadership skills. The Assistant Restaurant Manager must understand that customer satisfaction always takes priority but efficient restaurant operations make it possible. Responsibilities

• • Identify and delegate responsibilities to leads and other staff members to ensure the objectives and standards of service is consistently achieved.
• • Effectively manage the Market and Café in the absence of the General Manager
• • Manage the operations with passion, integrity and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of the Light Farms Community.
• • Provide direction to leads and staff to achieve the Market and Café goals.
• • Monitor daily operations and staff members to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• • Maintain a positive guest experience by expecting a high level of service while ensuring all staff engage the guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
• • Consistently monitor product and labor costs to remain with goals.
• • Gather guest feedback to understand the needs, wants and expectations of our guests
• • Train and maintain the staff on guest services principles and practices
• • Follow the Farm Stand policies and procedures daily, including those for cash handling, safety/security and proper food and beverage handling.
• • Continually monitor and maintain the POS system
• • Assist in new menu and specials implementations
• • Recognize, Develop and Implement creative solutions for areas of improvement
• • Conduct and/or assist in the all-staff and daily pre-shift meetings
• • Be adaptable to aid in any areas of the restaurant when staffing constraints exist
• RESTAURANT
• • Ensures the Back of House controls and standards are adhered to at all times.
• • Adheres to recipe execution for all menu items and coaches and trains Team Members to adhere to the same standards.
• • Maximizes productivity and efficiencies and minimizes waste by ensuring appropriate production levels.
• Shared responsibility for purchasing, ordering and receiving of all food, beverage and supplies inventory, confirming that items ordered are within projected of volume of business.
• MARKET
• • Ensure accurate merchandise orders are placed in a timely and accurate manner.
• • Maximizes merchandising for optimum sales.
