Job Description
FireHouse Gastro Park is looking for a Mixologist to join our team. The Mixologist is responsible for creating strong guest relationships and making the guest feel like a VIP. Specific responsibilities of the Mixologist include:
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a genuine smile, build rapport, and ensure an enjoyable, quality bar experience
- Look for visual and verbal cues to identify the experience the guest wants and customize the service to meet those expectations
- Promptly and accurately take food and beverage requests from guests
- Ensure expedient service of food and beverages to the guest
- Learn menu and beverages and recommend and upsell items
- Accurately ring all orders into the POS system while simultaneously interacting with guests when applicable
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar guests (cocktails, beer, wine, etc.)
- Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Requirements:
- High school diploma preferred (or equivalent)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Energetic and positive demeanor
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable about the company's menu and customer-related policies
- Previous experience as a restaurant mixologist, bartender, bar-back, server, waiter/waitress, runner, front of house, or other FOH restaurant job will be helpful to being successful at this job.
