Job Description
The prep cook handles the majority of the prep for all ingredients going into dishes during service. This position often works under little supervision, so you must be able to follow recipes and be well-versed in a variety of food products and techniques. The quality of the prep work is instrumental in the quality of the finished product, so attention to detail is paramount.

When you think of Mexican Seafood think of Mariscos La Marea. The founder, who had vast experience in the restaurant industry has tried multiple restaurants for some authentic Mexican seafood and was disappointed at not being able to find something close to what he had back at home. With this and a passion to provide "closest to home" he set out on an adventure - came up with recipes of his own, begged & borrowed some of his friends & family recipe and then concocted and blended to come up with unique recipes and dishes that you can see today at our various locations. From all this hard work and passion the first Mariscos La Marea was founded in 2007.
