Job Description

This is part time weekend entry-level position. This is a hybrid role of a host and busser with primarily host duties. The shifts available are Days, Nights and Late Nights. It gives you the opportunity learn the hospitatity Bussiness and to move up in position.

$3.25 plus tips.

As host, you'll be the conductor of the orchestra that is a service team and to the guest. You are the first impression of the restaurant and set the tone for guests' experiences. You will answer phones, take reservations, and be responsible for seating guests and monitoring their needs. Your attention to detail and communication are critically important. You are also the last note of the experience, and will wish guests farewell and invite them to come back.

As a busser, you set the stage for service: setting & clearing tables, assisting servers and attending to customers' needs. You should be a team player and enjoy working at a fast pace. If you're not already, you'll become a multitasking pro. With experience and a great attitude, this role will lead to more opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a smile upon arrival
• Seat guests and accommodate special requests
• Manage the wait list: record guest names and number in party, and provide estimated waiting time
• Answer phones and manage the restaurant reservation system
• Inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness
• Set tables and stock necessary supplies.
• Clear tables and reset.
• Replenish utensils as necessary.
• Refill water and iced tea glasses.
• Support wait staff by assisting them with customer needs.
• Keep a clean and sanitary bussing station.
