Lal Qila began it's journey on Harry Hines Blvd and was started by Nawaz and Munira Shalwani in January 2010 first named as "Desi Kabob House and Cafe". The name was later on changed to 'Lal Qila EXPRESS'. With the amazing feedback that we received, we decided to open up a bigger operation in a location where the crowd was continuously requesting.
