Job Description

As a server, you truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. You are welcoming and accommodating with the ability to educate our patrons and guide their experience to create lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride.

Responsibilities

• • Greeting customers and showing an interest in their dining experience from the moment they are seated
• • Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
• • Assessing customers’ needs/preferences, making menu item recommendations, and interacting with customers (as opposed to merely passively taking orders)
• • Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
• • Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
• • Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessary
• • Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area
• • Remaining guest focused and cultivating an excellent guest experience
• • Complying with all food and beverage regulations
