Job Description

A restaurant server takes orders, answers questions about the menu and food, sells the restaurant's food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• • Take customers’ food and drink orders
• • Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
• • Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
• • Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
• • Confirm orders with the sushi chefs whenever a clarification is requested
• • Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
