As a server, you truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. You are welcoming and accommodating with the ability to educate our patrons and guide their experience to create lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride.
Responsibilities
- Present menu and answer questions
- Take orders and make recommendations
- Manage tables paying attention to cleanliness and order
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Listen to complaints or problems with a positive attitude

About The Loon Bar & Grill - Dallas
The Loon Bar & Grill is one of the oldest neighborhood bars in Dallas a 25 year history in Uptown. The Loon has its roots as a Jazz bar in the sixties and turned into Joe Millers before it became the Loon in 1992. Located on Lemmon in a building with no windows, the Loon was the neighborhood bar always known for great food, exceptional service, generous pours, and the place to meet up with friends.
Honored by Dallas Observer for Best Bar Food and Best Pour, the menu of gourmet Italian and the drinks haven’t changed over the years. In 2014, when CVS took over the old location, we moved less than a block away in a house-turned-bar that was built in the ‘20’s. The new location has windows and a large patio, but we are still the place for good food, better drinks, and best friends.
