Job Description
As a server, you truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. You are welcoming and accomodating with the ability to educate our patrons and guide their experience to create lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride.
Responsibilities
- Present menu and answer questions
- Take orders and make recommendations
- Manage tables paying attention to cleanliness and order
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Listen to complaints or problems with a positive attitude

In 1992, seasoned sous chef Ricky Tillman and his wife Sara opened a quaint New American restaurant in the urban artist alcove of Oak Cliff called the Bishop Arts District. Then called Tillman’s Corner, the warm & inviting at-home vibe attracted patrons from all corners of DFW who craved Ricky’s modern spin on comfort food and Texas tradition.
Today, our restaurant has a new name – Tillman’s Roadhouse – but owner Jeffrey continues to carry on the Tillman legacy of friendly neighborhood service and innovative savory cuisine. Led by Kollinger, we are a modern spin on the classic roadhouse, offering regional-inspired Texas tastes.
