Job Description

Provide engaging interaction to dining guests while managing timely service, quality-assured food and beverages, and ensuring every guest leaves having had an extraordinary experience during their visit. Servers are expected to be attentive to our guests needs at all times and to succeed in making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Responsibilities

• • Continually educate yourself on the specifics of menu item recipes, methods of preparation, creative ways to sell the proper mix of items to your guests resulting in higher check averages.
• • Take initiative to ensure you are constantly up to date on daily specials, restaurant promotions, items the kitchen or bar has run out of, etc.
• • Take timely and accurate food/beverage orders and ring them accurately into the POS system.
• • Pace the meals of your guests in a way which provides an enjoyable experience.
• • Achieve all steps of service in a timely and pleasant manner, as outlined in the ARP Service Manual.
• • Assist other front-of-house service team members regularly during service utilizing company standards for those positions
• • Maintain clean and regularly maintained tables throughout service. Clean regularly as you work in and around service stations and other work areas.
• • Comply with and execute all ARP policies and procedures regarding guest credentials to establish legal drinking age and identity, as well as other company policies regarding responsible alcohol service
• • Takes initiative to maintain a working knowledge of health code requirements and executes steps to ensure these requirements are met before and during service.
• • Deliver food and drinks whenever possible, including those ready for other server’s tables
• • Present checks to and process payments from guests in a pleasant, accurate and timely manner.
• • Provide proper tableside wine service as needed.
