Job Description
As a server, you truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. You are welcoming and accomodating with the ability to educate our patrons and guide their experience to create lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride.
Responsibilities
- Present menu and answer questions
- Take orders and make recommendations
- Manage tables paying attention to cleanliness and order
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Listen to complaints or problems with a positive attitude

An industry pioneer in the farm-to-table movement, Watershed continues to showcase its roots in soulful Southern cuisine, while also introducing modern, ingredient-driven techniques. This concept of reverence meets innovation is driven by new executive chef and owner Matt Marcus and his passion for cooking in the moment and redefining “New South” cuisine. Since opening in 1999 and earning a James Beard Award in the process, previous owners Emily Saliers of the Grammy award-winning folk rock group, Indigo Girls and Ross Jones moved the restaurant from Decatur to its current Brookwood Hills location in May 2012. With a long history of talent in the kitchen, Marcus will continue to push Watershed’s menu to new culinary heights as its new executive chef and owner. While most elements will change, a few beloved traditions will stay the same, and we invite you to join our evolutionary journey.
