Melt Ice Creams in Fort Worth, TX is looking for one shift lead to join our team! We are located on 1201 W Magnolia Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

Shift Leads at MELT are the face and leaders of the business who oversee day-to-day operations and customer service. As the leader in the shop you are expected to have the highest level of integrity. You are being trusted with a business that works diligently to provide amazing experiences for customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Each Shift Lead at MELT is expected to align with and follow these key areas:
• Culture
• Each Shift Lead is expected to know and align with MELT’s mission and core values. As Shift Lead, you are also expected to manage team morale and set the team up for success
• Partnership
• Each Shift Lead is expected to collaborate and communicate positively, timely, and effectively with the store Team Lead and Scoopers. The Shift Lead is responsible for holding the team accountable to the rules
• Service
• Each Shift Lead will provide stellar customer experiences for every one of MELT’s guests, leading their fellow Scoopers by example by always smiling and being available, looking for opportunities to further engage and serve customers
• Operations
• Shift leads are solution-based thinkers, able to multitask and work proactively, remaining aware of the shop needs. Shift Leads are responsible for the daily functions of MELT
• Ongoing operations
• Being on time, present, and ready to work for shifts
• Performing pre-shift huddles
• Serving guests efficiently
• Completing checklists and performing walk-through
• Proper cash management
• Ordering and inventory
• Training
• Product quality
• Making excellent cups, cones, pints and catering cups
• Only serving the best quality products
• Overseeing the quality of work of fellow Scoopers
• Store cleanliness and organization
• Maintain a clean working space, tidying as you work
• Putting things back where they belong
• Labeling and rotating product with FIFO (first in, first out)
• Completing opening, ongoing, closing, and monthly cleaning tasks
• Team Relations
