Job Description

We are looking for a sushi line chef to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

Experience in a kitchen is preferred, but we are always willing to train motivated individuals with basic knife skills.

Pay is WEEKLY and is performance based.

WEEKLY tips are also included.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers as they sit down
• make sushi rice with perfect form and consistency
• prepare raw fish and other sushi ingredients
• roll and plate dishes for customers, taking note of individual preferences
• handles restocking of ingredients
• maintain a clean and safe workspace
• coordinate with wait staff and other chefs to ensure an efficient flow of orders
• Qualifications:
• basic knife skills required
• good communication & time-management
• able to stand for extended hours
• must be able to work well with others on the sushi line
