Job Description
As a Sushi Chef, you'll set up your station and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and take direction from the Chef or Sous Chef and also explore your creativity where appropriate. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.
Responsibilities
- Cook food in a variety of ways
- Prepare ingredients
- Possess a solid sense of timing
- Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Monitor stock and place orders for shortages

Kenzo Tran opened the first Piranha Killer Sushi location in Arlington in the fall of 2001 and now has a total of six restaurants located in Flower Mound, Fort Worth, South Arlington, Austin and San Antonio with more locations on the way.
Along with maintaining loyal guests and introducing new guests to the restaurant, Tran’s primary goal is connecting to and giving back to the community in each market he enters and makes a deliberate effort to do so.
He has partnered with charities such as The Boys & Girls Club, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, March of Dimes and many more as well as conducting annual toy and canned food drives.
