Job Description
As the barista, you will skillfully craft the perfect beverage with consistency. With a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail and working quickly & accurately will help ensure your success. You'll also be responsible for keeping your station and the larger establishment clean and stocked. Being a barista offers you a community of passionate coffee lovers and frequent opportunities for continued learning.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers
- Prepare and serve hot/cold beverages
- Share knowledge and suggest menu items to customers
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment
- Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Receive and process payments
- Prepare foods such as muffins, pastries, bagels, etc.

Coco Crêpes, Waffles & Coffee is a fusion European café and crêperie
founded by accomplished chef, Youssef Nafaa.
Every Saturday morning, Chef Nafaa would wake his family up to the aroma of crepes and coffee. With tiny feet shuffling down the staircase, his 3 sons would round the corner and rush to the kitchen – eager to be his faithful recipe tasters. Inspired by his sons, Chef Nafaa developed a menu using his experiences through world travels and culinary knowledge. The first crepe and what is known as the “Original Coco’s Crêpe” was named after his son’s favorite bear, Coco that would sit in the kitchen with them every Saturday morning.
In 2005, Chef Nafaa opened the doors to Houston’s very first creperie!
