Job Description
- TABC and Food handlers Required.
- $8 to start plus tips
- Must have open availability
- 1 year of job-related experience required
As a bartender/counter position, you’ll be crafting delicious cocktails while engaging with guests to provide memorable experiences. You should find enjoyment in creating new and innovative cocktails, enhancing flavor profiles and pairing food and drinks. You will be successful if you're welcoming and personable and always seeking ways to exceed patrons' needs and expectations. As a bartender you'll have a responsibility to our patrons and their safety and must have proper certification and a thorough understanding of current laws.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant needs
- Help plan and serve bar menu
- Restock and replenish bar inventory
- ID customers to confirm legal drinking age
- Comply with food and beverage regulations

Downtown Dallas got a new burger joint yesterday when Village Burger Bar opened a new location near the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
The new restaurant off Woodall Rogers Freeway is the local franchise's fourth location. Firebird Restaurant Group, which owns the concept, has other burger joints in West Village, North Dallas, the Shops at Legacy in Plano and Watters Creek in Allen, according to a press release. The new location is open from 11 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday with similar offerings to other locations — which hopefully include those frozen Cuba Libres and the now-ubiquitous frose.
The local burger franchise first opened in West Village in 2005.
