Job Description
Your job as cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from taking orders and processing payments, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and answering the phone. The most important aspect of your work as Cashier is to provide accurate and friendly service to ensure guests will return.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and answer any questions
- Promote products and menu items
- Handle and process customer payments
- Issue receipts and refunds as necessary
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Maintain a clean and tidy counter area
- Restock items needed for counter area

It all started in Orange County California where Tito Montiel & Ramon Ceron (Owners of Jay Jay Cafe & Brothers in Law) discovered their passion for Home Style Cooking and the restaurant business. After 27 years of experience, along with both wives Blanca & Mary, They made the decision to move to Texas for a better and bigger opportunity to expand their passion in the restaurant business. With the husband's expertise in the Home Style Cooking and the wive's amazing baking of Home Made Fruit Pies, Cream pies, Mini Loaves, Cookies, Muffins, and more.
Shortly after they settle in Texas, They took ownership of Jay Jay Cafe. After putting in long hours and working extra hard to insure the success of this location, Now with a new location. Success was the only option for the second location.
We invite everyone to come to the new location of Jay Jay Cafe and try our famous Home Style Cooking. Like before, breakfast is served all day, Home Style Food like grandpa's and the best desserts to pick from.
